Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances Your Tasks: Responsible for operating, maintaining, securing and evolving the software deployment and operational IT-infrastructure Specify, configure and roll out IT-infrastructure for the internal development system and end-user systems in the squadrons of customers in central Europe Support a strict configuration management process to define and identify baselines of the IT-systems Assure compliance of the systems with IT-security guidelines like BSI IT-Grundschutz by applying according updates, patches and configuration Continuously update the development systems along the evolution of our Mission Planning Systems Define processes for reliable and reproducible roll out new baselines into operation Part of a highly engaged development team to evolve maintainability and operability of the IT-Systems and the tool-chain supporting this Your Profile Computer Science, at least Master´s Business fluent English Demonstrated solid work experience in securely and reliably operating IT systems Good experience in collaborating with software development teams and integrating with their development and configuration processes Knowledge in Jira, Git, Bitbucket, or Nexus Several years of experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code in a Windows environment (e.g., using PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Baramundi, Ansible) Professional careers do not always run perfectly or in a straight line.
