Your main tasks will include: Supporting the system architecture design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and Elixir. Providing technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering their growth and guiding them through technical challenges. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements while aligning with the company's long-term technical strategy. Driving architectural decisions, ensuring adherence to best practices, and staying current with emerging technologies to inform technical direction. Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, optimizing overall system performance, and ensuring scalability. Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining high code quality standards. Gradually taking on responsibilities in people management and team organization. You are right with us if: You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You have proven experience (5+ years) in developing large-scale web applications with Ruby on Rails and/or Elixir. You have a strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design. You are proficient in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks (React, Angular, etc.). You have experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and asynchronous messaging systems. You have a solid knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling and are familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines. You have excellent problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You have experience in leading technical teams or projects and a genuine interest in developing leadership skills for a transition into an Engineering Manager role. Why CLARK?
