Stellenbeschreibung: About us Software Architect - Java, Microservices, AWS - Germany/Remote - 110.000 EUR We have partnered with a booming tech company offering global fulfilment solutions in their search for a Principal Engineer. You will have expertise in transitioning from a monolithic approach to microservices. Your expertise from technological and cloud architecture perspectives will shape the trajectory of our multi-year IT Transformation program. Tasks What we offer: Crafting the strategic technical roadmap and blueprint of the program alongside stakeholders, architecture, and platform teams. Spearheading the design and deployment of cloud solutions for scalability, reliability, and performance. Leading proof of concepts on cutting-edge technologies and integrating them into our ecosystem. Upholding governance standards, ensuring alignment with reference architecture, cloud best practices, and corporate standards. Pioneering innovation by keeping abreast of technological trends and proposing forward-thinking solutions. Facilitating alignment between technical decisions and organizational objectives through effective communication. Profile What you offer: A degree in computer science or equivalent qualification. Extensive professional experience as a Senior/Principal Engineer, Software Architect, or Technical Leader. Proven track record in designing and implementing solutions in AWS cloud environments. Expertise in IT transformation projects, including modernizing IT processes and transitioning to microservices. Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, AWS, API Management, and related technologies. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience mentoring junior engineers or a keen desire to mentor. A collaborative spirit and a passion for pushing boundaries. Excellent communication skills, with strong English language essential and German a nice to have.
