Job Function: Develop verification strategies for medical devices with focus on software-driven electromechanical components at sub-system and system level Writing and reviewing verification test protocols , by selecting and using effective tools, methods and applicable test standards. Create and maintain test equipment, fixtures including design of hardware Developing test method validations Perform testing activities and data analysis using needed statistical techniques Write and release final report Evaluate timeline for assignments and track/communicate progress for testing tasks Create, review and optimize reusable test cases by developing test environments and scenarios Write engineering test documentation Skills: Master’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Medical Engineering or related disciplines or comparable background At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably accrued in medical devices companies Experience in Electrical Verification and Validation Comfortable with Lab work and test setup preparation Good experience with Measurement equipment e.g. Oscilloscope, DMM, Electronic Load…etc. Hardware Design background with ability to read schematics and drawings Experience with CAN-Bus communication Experience with Vector tools: CANoe, CAPL, VTestStudio is a plus Understanding of safety critical environments Experience in IEC 60601-1 and IEC 62304 is a plus Good troubleshooting skills Self-Starter, self-motivated, hands-on person Ability to work with minimal instruction Fluency in English (written and spoken), German language is a plus START: ASAP As a development specialist with more than 14,000 employees at over 50 locations, we work on exciting projects on behalf of our customers worldwide.
