Your Roles and Tasks: As our Senior Financial Accountant/Controller (m/f/x), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes in our fast-growing company. You will provide management with insightful reports to support strategic decision-making and take ownership of several critical financial functions, including: Automation: Contribute to the ongoing automation of our financial processes, including invoice and bank statement management and support the implementation of a new ERP system. Financial Accounting: Supervise billing and accounting, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Controlling and Reporting: Work closely with the leadership team to perform advanced forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning. Enhance financial dashboards and analysis tools to provide management with clear, real-time insights for decision-making. Requirements Now let’s talk about you: You have 3-5 years professional experience in Financial Controlling or Accounting, preferably in a SaaS startup/scaleup environment. You have a Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Economics, Finance or a related field. You have proven experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle Netsuite or a comparable system. You have experience in successfully automating business processes. You are highly proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge in BI tools such as Power BI is a plus. You are adaptable, process-oriented, and work well both independently and as part of a team. You speak fluent German (C2) and have excellent written and spoken English. You are ideally located in Kiel or Berlin, but we are also open to remote throughout Germany.
