Stellenbeschreibung: As a (Senior) E/E Architect (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in defining the architecture and deriving the requirements for new E/E solutions, while also supporting the maintenance of existing ones. You will analyze customer needs, distill them into clear requirements, evaluate and prioritize potential solutions, and guide decision-making processes. You will also work closely with the E/E hardware development team to ensure smooth implementation. This position is part of a highly dedicated team that plays a key role in designing innovative Viessmann products, tailored to the fast-growing markets of heat pumps, PV and storage systems, and e-mobility solutions. Your impact - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the E/E hardware development team to ensure comprehensive and transparent specifications for E/E solutions. - Develop architectures, partitioning strategies, and variants of E/E solutions that meet product requirements, integrate optimally into the product, and minimize both development and production costs. - Serve as the central point of contact for the specification and architecture of E/E solutions, supporting internal clients and the hardware development team. - Ensure sustainable documentation of E/E requirements and architecture. - Manage costs related to E/E solutions, including setting cost targets, defining cost structures, tracking expenses, and implementing cost optimization measures. - Keep an eye on emerging E/E technologies, ensuring timely adoption and profitable integration into our products. Who you are You possess excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, a strong sense of responsibility, an independent and self-reliant work style, as well as enthusiasm for innovative technologies. To ensure your success in this role, we are also looking for: - A degree in electrical engineering or a related field - Extensive experience in developing and integrating E/E solutions into products, with familiarity in working within the V-Model framework - Several years of professional experience in circuit design for electronics and/or power electronics, ideally in PV and battery systems, or alternatively, in heat pumps - Hands-on knowledge of life cycle management and familiarity with tools such as Siemens Polarion, Atlassian Jira, or Enterprise Architect - Excellent English and good German language skills Even if you don't fulfill all of the above but are ready to take this challenge on as a next step, go ahead and press “Apply” anyway.
