Tasks Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and deliver new features and enhancements. Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, performant, and reliable backend services and APIs. Ensure the security, stability, and performance of our platform by implementing best practices in software development. Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive our backend infrastructure forward. Work closely together with our founders, CTO and developers. Teach your team members best practices and help them grow both on a professional and a personal level. Participate in code reviews and maintain a high standard of code quality. Requirements 5+ years of experience in backend development. Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Rust, Java, or Go. Experience working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and message queues. Deep understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Bias toward action and the ability to work proactively without a top-down to-do list.
