demand, we are ready to scale, and we’re looking for a dynamic Sales
Development Representative (SDR) to help us accelerate growth. Tasks
As the first Sales Development Representative (SDR) at 8returns, you
will play a critical role in driving new business by identifying,
qualifying, and engaging with prospective customers. You’ll work
closely with our sales and marketing teams to build a consistent
pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. This is a unique
opportunity to join a fast-growing SaaS company and have a direct
impact on the company’s success. Responsibilities: Lead Generation &
Prospecting: Research and identify potential customers in the
e-commerce, retail, and logistics industries that could benefit from
8returns’ returns management platform. Outreach: Initiate outbound
communication (cold emails, LinkedIn messaging, phone calls) with
potential prospects, introducing them to 8returns and qualifying their
interest. Qualification: Engage in conversations with leads to
understand their needs, pain points, and fit with our product
offering. Use a consultative approach to identify key decision-makers
and stakeholders. Pipeline Building: Set up meetings for the Account
Executive by nurturing qualified leads through to the demo stage. CRM
Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and lead
qualification activity in our CRM system (HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.),
ensuring a steady and transparent sales pipeline. Collaboration: Work
closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine outreach
strategies, share feedback from prospects, and optimize the lead
generation process. Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly targets
for qualified leads, outreach activities, and meetings booked.
Requirements Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales, lead
generation, or business development role (ideally within B2B SaaS or
tech). Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication
skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages and
engage in meaningful conversations with prospects. Results-Driven: A
self-starter with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Highly
motivated and resilient in overcoming objections and setbacks.
Curiosity: A natural curiosity about customers’ challenges and how
our solution can help them, paired with a genuine interest in
e-commerce and tech. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and
tools like HubSpot, Pipedrive, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or
similar platforms is a plus Language: Fluent in German; English is a
