We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join our client’s dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the technological landscape and drive the digital transformation of a well-established player in the automotive industry. Position Overview: As an SAP Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the architecture of SAP solutions that meet the complex business needs of the automotive industry. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure the effective integration and optimization of SAP systems across various departments, including production, logistics, finance, and sales. Tasks Solution Design: Lead the design of comprehensive SAP architecture solutions that align with the company’s business objectives, with a particular focus on automotive processes such as production, supply chain management, and sales. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management and business stakeholders to define the company’s SAP strategy, ensuring it supports long-term business goals and technological advancements. Integration and Optimization: Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, FI/CO) and external systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements across the entire SAP landscape. Customization and Configuration: Oversee the customization and configuration of SAP systems to address specific business needs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Project Leadership: Lead SAP projects from inception through to completion, including system upgrades, new implementations, and rollouts, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful deployment across all functional areas. Governance and Best Practices: Establish SAP architecture governance frameworks and ensure adherence to best practices, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of SAP systems. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex SAP issues, guiding teams through problem resolution and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP and the automotive industry, advising the company on potential innovations that could enhance business processes and system performance. Profile Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Solution Architect or Senior SAP Consultant, ideally within the automotive industry, with deep knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, and FI/CO. Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in designing SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, cloud integration, and enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring seamless integration of complex systems. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of automotive industry processes, including manufacturing, supply chain, and sales operations, and how they can be optimized within SAP environments. Project Management Skills: Experience managing large-scale SAP projects, from requirement gathering and solution design to implementation and go-live, with a strong focus on delivering successful outcomes. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable SAP solutions, troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing system performance. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams. Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English. Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
