Stellenbeschreibung: Intro Everest Systems is a startup company founded in 2020. Its focus is on developing business software for small and medium sized companies. The company is financially backed by a well-known investor - its founders are very experienced software and product architects from industry. The company is in Palo Alto, USA and Heidelberg, Germany. Currently we are about 125 employees worldwide and we are hiring. Tasks As a QA engineer, you will focus on the following tasks: Work embedded in an application team designing and implementing integration & end-to-end test automation using Jest and Playwright (TypeScript). Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases. Pioneer AI/LLM integration into our testing processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Implement quality metrics and dashboards to track and improve product reliability. Lead initiatives to improve deployment automation and release processes. Requirements Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related topic. 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or SDET. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright (or similar test automation frameworks). Hands-on experience testing cloud-native web applications. Familiarity with API and integration testing.
