Stellenbeschreibung: Job background About CDP: CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. Over the past 20 years we have created a system that has resulted in unparalleled engagement on environmental issues worldwide. The Capital Markets team engages with European financial institutions to request ESG data from companies. The team also promotes several engagement campaigns to drive increases in company environmental disclosure via their financial supporters, promoting datasets and tools to support Financial Institutions on their journey to and net-zero carbon and nature-positive world, as well as participating in industry events and seeking opportunities to be involved with sustainable finance initiatives. The Product Officer is an essential supporting role; providing our Account Managers with the technical information to grow our client-base, whilst enabling our Capital Markets clients to fully realise the potential behind our data and drive nature-positive outcomes. The role includes Support the production and management processes of CDP products focused on Capital Markets, and occasionally other CDP programs. Provide quality control for products across the Product Delivery team. Deliver CDP datasets and related information to Capital Markets and Environmental Data clients and prospects. Assist in improving data management and delivery processes within the Product Delivery team. Actively support CDP Account Managers globally in increasing awareness of CDP’s data offerings, particularly Capital Markets products, including support in answering technical questions from clients and prospects. Support new data projects and Capital Markets products, focusing on sustainable finance, Science-Based Targets, and Net-Zero investment portfolios. The successful candidate should have A background in sustainability, data analysis, financial markets, or a related field. Strong interest in sustainability, particularly in the context of corporate environmental responsibility and financial markets. Excellent data management and analytical skills, with experience using data tools (Excel proficiency required, knowledge of programming is a plus). Excellent organisational skills, particularly around how to manage knowledge and information, as well as tracking and following processes Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with global teams.
