Stellenbeschreibung: About us Remote / Germany Up to €110,000 Position Overview: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud Architect for an AWS partnered Consultancy with a strong focus on security and infrastructure to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering cloud projects for clients in the healthcare and finance sectors, ensuring the successful design, deployment, and maintenance of secure and compliant cloud environments. You will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of projects and mentoring junior team members. Tasks Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture and design of cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on security and infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations. Collaborate with clients in the healthcare and finance industries to understand their unique business needs and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architecture solutions. Develop and implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance, addressing the specific requirements of healthcare and finance clients. Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services, with a focus on AWS and Azure, while ensuring they meet industry-specific compliance standards. Design and implement infrastructure as code (IAC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other relevant tools, tailored to the regulatory needs of healthcare and finance. Build and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker, adhering to industry-specific security and data protection standards. Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployments, while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members, fostering a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, security, and infrastructure, with a keen awareness of healthcare and finance regulations. Profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a focus on security and infrastructure, preferably in healthcare or finance. Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with a deep understanding of industry-specific compliance standards. Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform and CloudFormation, with the ability to customize solutions for industry-specific needs. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker, while maintaining data security and privacy. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, ensuring they align with industry regulations. Proficienct in at least one scripting/ Coding language (Python, BASH, Java, Kotlin...) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement complex cloud solutions that adhere to industry-specific standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
