Stellenbeschreibung: As part of DFG funded research project at the Department for Internal Medicine 1 (Medical Director: Prof. Dr. Thomas Seufferlein) at Ulm University, we are offering a PhD position (m/f/d) Ulm University Hospital and its employees stand for modern, high-quality patient care, cutting-edge research and future-oriented medical teaching and training in attractive professional fields. This requires qualified and committed employees. in the field of cancer biology to investigate how prominent PDAC driver mutations affect secretion and cargo content of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs, exosomes) to mediate intercellular communication in the tumor microenvironment and with distant metastatic niches. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join the exciting field of extracellular vesicle research to elucidate intercellular communication networks in pancreatic cancer. Candidates are expected to join the structured curriculum of the International Graduate School in Molecular Medicine Ulm (IGradU) PhD training program to acquire a PhD or Dr. rer. nat. degree.
