Stellenbeschreibung: We are looking for an IoT Cloud Architect for the IoT Architecture team in Allendorf. In this role, you will play a vital role in software architecture definition and development. Your impact - Deriving and defining sustainable software architectures for cloud applications by translating business requirements (in the form of User Stories) into solutions, while balancing non-functional requirements like scalability, performance, and availability. - Developing and coordinating customer-focused end-to-end solutions in collaboration with other System Architects within the company. - Analyzing and preparing detailed technical specifications, while making design decisions for cloud applications aligned with the system and software architectures. - Defining and implementing interfaces between various systems and software components across embedded devices, backend, and frontend for seamless end-to-end solutions. - Defining and ensuring the implementation of an API layer that enables modular, scalable application functionality consumption. Who you are You are independent, self-motivated and a strong team player, with experience in working across matrix organisations. You also bring: - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, business informatics or equivalent study programmes. - At least 5+ years of experience in system and software development as well as in the development and maintenance of scalable and sustainable cloud architectures - Experience in systems engineering and system modelling with UML/SysML (e.g. Enterprise Architect). - Experience in abstraction and structuring of complex systems. - Strong knowledge and experience with designing API’s, cloud native applications, Microsoft Azure, and microservices architecture. - Experience in agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, JIRAetc.) Even if you don't fulfill all of the above but are ready to take this challenge on as a next step, go ahead and press “Apply” anyway.
