We are a growing team looking for an International Tax Manager in the
finance department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road
freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin office. WHAT YOU
WILL DO … As an International Tax Manager you’ll work on
interesting responsibilities like supporting and/or managing complex
projects across various sennder countries / entities / functions. You
will help ensure tax compliance, develop tax strategy and execute tax
risk controls for the group. You’ll be collaborating closely with
the colleagues in the finance department as well as
cross-functionally. In this role, you will … Support and/or lead tax
analysis with respect to high priority tax projects, incl. in the area
of VAT, transfer pricing, WHT and tax risk management & controls Help
oversee material tax risks and topics in local sennder entities
Oversee the corporate income tax compliance process, including any
improvement recommendations Oversee documentation for global transfer
pricing transactions, including coordination with the central transfer
pricing preparation team Contribute to continuous automation efforts
for corporate income tax and transfer pricing Support
interdepartmental and cross-border cooperation and data sharing Assist
in the management of income tax audits Work with internal (local head
of finance and their teams) and external stakeholders (primarily, Big4
advisors) WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR … 5+ years of strong international
tax, including Big 4 and/or relevant in-house experience, with VAT or
M&A as a strong point is a plus Education in Accounting, Tax or
Finance (specific tax qualifications a plus) Fluent in English, German
is a plus Team player at heart, with high motivation to learn and take
on new challenges Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly,
concisely and commercially Experience collaborating with team members
across geographies, collaborating and building relationships with
stakeholders in commercial, financial, and legal functions WHAT YOU
