We’re the minds behind titles like Lords of the Fallen , The Surge series, and Atlas Fallen , known for their rich worlds and immersive gameplay. Your Quest: We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Intern – 3Cs Designer (f/m/x) to join our team immediately at our office in Frankfurt am Main. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry and contribute to the design and implementation of core gameplay features. Please note: This internship is only available to students and must be a mandatory part of your university program (minimum duration: 18 weeks). Please include confirmation from your university (Praktikumsordnung) along with your application. Design and Implementation: Work under the supervision of a senior designer to design and implement minor features related to character movement, camera systems, and controls. Playtesting and Feedback: Participate in playtesting sessions and design discussions, offering constructive feedback on gameplay features. Present features to the design team and integrate their feedback as part of the iteration process. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for the features you own, ensuring it’s up-to-date throughout the development process. Your Toolkit: Unreal Blueprint Knowledge: Demonstrable experience with Unreal Blueprint, including examples of your work. Current Studies: Currently enrolled in Game Design or a similar field. Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to learn, along with an aptitude for receiving and acting on feedback. Basic Game Design Knowledge: Understanding of game design principles, especially in character, camera, and controls. Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing. Team Player: A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for working within a team. Positive Attitude: An enthusiasm and positive approach to challenges. You Get Extra XP For: Passion for Third-Person Melee Combat Games: A love for games in this genre. Gaming Trends Knowledge: Being up-to-date on current gaming trends.
