- About the Job We are looking for an experienced Head of International
Expansion (m/f/d) to join the team in our portfolio company and lead
its international growth strategies. In your day-to-day work, you'll
focus on streamlining international expansion strategies, penetrating
new markets, and getting the opportunity to contribute to various
projects. Founded in 2021, the company is a trailblazing supply chain
platform that has redefined the way large construction material orders
are sourced, distributed, and financed. They are on a mission to
unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western
Market by providing access to high-quality construction materials at a
global scale through their innovative platform. Since its launch in
January 2022, the company has successfully served hundreds of
companies and generated exponential growth toward profitability. Its
distinct competitive advantage lies in its ability to organize the
supply chain through digital innovation. Eliminating middlemen and
embracing tech-first and AI, it creates a seamless connection between
suppliers and buyers. Its proprietary platform technology not only
facilitates supply and demand matching but also offers a comprehensive
suite of services, including cloud inventory management, fulfillment
solutions, and fintech capabilities. Since its inception, the company
has been at the forefront of construction material management, helping
companies access high-quality materials efficiently and
cost-effectively. The platform provides a user-friendly experience
that empowers businesses to thrive. The team currently counts 75+ FTEs
located across Germany (Berlin HQ), China, and India. The company is
on track to achieve profitability and generated triple-digit million
GMV. In this role, you’ll: Develop and execute international
expansion strategies: do everything that is needed for us to enter and
successfully penetrate new European markets, and beyond Outperform on
own sales targets. Negotiate and close major deals, ensuring optimal
terms for the company Build, lead, motivate, and manage the
international expansion team: ensure high performance and professional
growth within the team, overseeing daily operations, make sure we set
up and run processes and workflows Analyse market trends, competitive
landscapes, and regulatory environments to identify and capitalise on
new business opportunities Build and maintain strong, long-lasting
relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Promote teamwork and
collaboration within the Growth team and across departments
(Operations and Tech) Your Profile Successfully built and led teams in
international markets or multi-market environments. Experience
managing diverse teams across different geographies is a plus Role
model and have 2+ years of experience in B2B sales. You built and
managed your own pipeline (from lead generation to customer success).
You achieved and overachieved ambitious sales targets With a hands-on
attitude, you have a pragmatic yet structured approach to getting
things done Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
in English and are fluent in other languages (eg: Spanish,
Italian,...) Experience in competitive and fast-paced environments,
such as consulting, VC, or hyper-growth startups Please note that we
are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company.
