Job Highlights Lead, mentor & inspire the Global Marketing team of BU Polymer Additives, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement Develop and implement global marketing strategy in line with BU strategy to ensure that global marketing team achieves or exceeds its budgeted financial objectives Develop, implement & continuously adapt effective pricing strategy according to business and market needs to grow profitability of the business, by using existing data based tools Continue to develop these tools further and ensure that state-of-the art pricing is being applied Define mid-/longterm strategies for market segments, key customers, applications, neighboring markets in close collaboration with Sales, Application Technology and Business Development Creation of short, medium and long-term forecasts to support the IBP process for the PLA business Develop and implement product portfolio strategy, define areas to focus, price positioning, analysis of business cases, define return of investment Provide marketing direction for promotion of the business unit, trade shows and participate in key trade organizations, build Key account relationship Participation in marketing communities & associations Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and contribute to the professional development of team members Requirements MBA/Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Chemistry or equivalent (e.g. Economic Assistant plus professional experience) Minimum of 10 years of experience in global marketing Proven success in developing and implementing global marketing strategies Profound knowledge about relevant markets, financial KPI's and adequate marketing and pricing strategies Ability to lead diverse and international teams Analytical thinking and acting with an entrepreneurial mindset Effective communication to different stakeholder groups and within interdisciplinary projects, relationship and negotiation skills Basic knowledge of written and spoken German and fluent in English What we offer you Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program.
