Stellenbeschreibung: Einleitung We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Compliance to lead the compliance and anti-financial crime functions for a financial services institution operating across Europe. This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring regulatory adherence, fostering a strong risk culture, and driving compliance innovation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Aufgaben Oversee the compliance framework for European operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, with a focus on markets and corporate compliance, AML, anti-terrorist financing, and sanctions. Monitor and assess regulatory developments in key markets, recommending and implementing effective solutions. Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory authorities, managing all communications, audits, and inquiries. Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training programs tailored to evolving regulatory landscapes. Provide expert guidance to internal teams on compliance and anti-financial crime matters, ensuring alignment with business goals. Lead compliance risk assessments and implement effective controls, fostering a proactive risk culture throughout the organization. Represent the compliance function in both internal and external committees, ensuring a robust presence and strategic input. Manage regulatory audits and coordinate remediation activities while delivering comprehensive management information to stakeholders. Qualifikation Extensive professional experience in compliance, with a focus on capital markets and financial crime prevention. In-depth knowledge of European regulatory environments, particularly in Germany.Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Bilingual proficiency in German and English is essential. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
