- Intro We're on a mission to make the speciality coffee experience more
affordable, digital, and convenient. In a world where services
continue to move into the virtual world, LAP (Life Among People) is
bringing back the human touch paired with the personalisation and
convenience that modern consumers have gotten used to with digital
business. We're a small but mighty team serving coffees out of our
stores in Berlin and quickly expanding to the rest of Germany. We're
looking for a City Manager in Munich to work directly with our
Founding Team. As a City Manager at LAP Coffee, you will be
instrumental in the success of our brand in the city of Munich, where
we aim to to become the largest . If you are looking to join at an
exciting time and have tons of ownership, impact and visibility, this
is the place for you. Tasks You'll be responsible for transforming LAP
into the largest coffee retail brand by 2025 and contribute to the
opening of our stores in Munich. You’ll oversee store operations,
including staffing, sales, P&L, and customer satisfaction.
Occasionally, you will go behind the counter and motivate the team to
deliver exceptional service while driving business growth and
profitability. Drive performance: Quarterly Business reviews to
support the teams to never settle for average and drive consistency.
You will bring a bold and courageous approach to tackling performance.
Project planning: Agree actions plans for building a business set for
growth. Team alignment: Plan and facilitate Area Meetings bringing
innovative ideas to the table and encouraging and open, honest, and
collaborative business planning. You will also create the environment
for everyone to succeed supported by a strong succession plan for your
area. Collaboration: Sharing company initiatives in an engaging and
inspiring environment. Expansion: Drive the business forward with
successful New Store Openings. Requirements You bring at least 7 years
of leadership operational experience in retail F&B, ideally with a mix
of retail food and beverage chains ideally at international level.
Experience in the coffee industry will be a massive plus. You are
willing to occasionally travel in order to explore new locations and
meet with potential partners. Your are entrepreneurial, solution
orientated and excited to work on the full-cycle of building a
start-up diving into whatever topics need to be done You have a
creative flair and eye for spotting growth opportunities. You ideate,
test and fail fast with working within tight deadlines and budget
constraints You are fluent in English and German at a professional
