- Intro Join tozero as our Chief of Staff to the CTO , where you will
play a pivotal role in project managing our cutting-edge technology
initiatives and supporting the scaling of our innovative solutions in
lithium-ion battery recycling. This position is ideal for an
experienced engineering leader who is passionate about deep tech and
has a track record of success in startup environments. Tasks What
You’ll Do Support Project Execution : Collaborate closely with the
CTO to oversee critical engineering projects, ensuring that they are
executed efficiently and effectively, meeting defined objectives and
timelines. Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams : Facilitate
communication and collaboration among various teams, including
engineering, operations, and R&D, to align technology development with
industrialization efforts and business strategy. Manage Project
Timelines : Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to
ensure alignment with broader company goals, proactively addressing
any obstacles that may arise. Drive Alignment and Strategy : Work
alongside the CTO to align engineering goals with company-wide
objectives, helping to prioritize initiatives that maximize impact and
scalability. Implement Best Practices : Advocate for and implement
best practices in project management and engineering processes to
enhance productivity and quality across teams. Foster a Culture of
Innovation : Encourage a collaborative and innovative work
environment, empowering team members to contribute ideas and solutions
that drive progress. Requirements What You Bring to the Table Strong
Engineering Background : A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or
a related field, with a solid understanding of deep tech and its
applications in the recycling industry. Proven Project Management
Skills : Extensive experience in project management, ideally within a
technology-focused startup, with a track record of successfully
managing complex projects from conception to execution. Deep Tech
Understanding : A strong grasp of the challenges and opportunities
within deep tech, particularly in relation to scaling technology for
industrial applications. Startup Experience : Experience working in
fast-paced startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and a
hands-on approach to problem-solving. Excellent Communication Skills :
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability
to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
