M., you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the success of data centre owners, occupiers, and investors around the world. Aufgabengebiet Client Outcomes : Deliver exceptional client results across all accounts, ensuring that client satisfaction and contractual commitments are not only met but exceeded. Profit & Loss (P&L) Management : Take full ownership of the financial aspects of contracts, including the development of financial plans. Ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved, and focus on reducing work in progress (WIP), managing debt, reducing costs, and promoting contract growth. Leadership & Development : Lead the development of a defined portfolio of contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and opportunities for strategic growth are maximized. This includes adding new services, increasing turnover, and securing re-tenders. Strategic Development : Proactively explore opportunities for expanding the portfolio, driving increased turnover and profitability. Ensure that additional services and projects are integrated into contracts. Policy Implementation : Ensure that business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented across all contracts, maintaining consistency and compliance. Health & Safety : Ensure that health and safety policies are rigorously applied across all operations, including subcontractor activities. Regularly review these policies to ensure a safe working environment for all. Customer Focus : Maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, ensuring a customer-centric approach in all operational activities. Employee Development : Foster a learning environment, ensuring appropriate training and development plans are in place. Ensure that employees are competent, continually developed, and prepared for future challenges. Resource Management : Ensure that contracts are staffed with competent teams, balancing cost efficiency with service excellence. Implement effective staffing structures that can adapt to varying workloads and ensure business continuity. Sales Support : Support the sales process by contributing to solutions development, participating in presentations, and assisting with the mobilization of new contracts. Collaboration : Work closely with other operational managers to ensure business development, effective teamwork, and mutual support across the organization. Contract Review & Compliance : Implement appropriate review and audit systems to ensure compliance with statutory, policy, and contractual requirements. Leadership & Guidance : Provide leadership, advice, coaching, and support to ensure best practices in employee selection, training, assessment, and engagement. Recognize and reward employee contributions effectively. Business Communication : Support effective communication within the business through leadership and contributions to meetings, briefings, reports, and other forms of correspondence. Business Unit Leadership : Be prepared to stand in for the Business Unit Leader during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making. Anforderungsprofil Data Centre Market : Deep understanding and experience within the data centre industry, specifically in managed services. Cross-Functional Management : At least 5 years of experience managing operations or service delivery for large data centres (minimum of 2,000 m²). Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Maintenance : Profound knowledge of all technical segments of data centres, covering both mechanical and electrical maintenance. ICT Operations : Strong understanding of ICT operations essential for managing data centre infrastructure. State-of-the-Art Data Centre Technologies : Up-to-date knowledge of modern data centre technologies and their practical implementation to achieve operational excellence. Business Development & Client Relationship Management : Proven ability to develop business opportunities and manage client relationships, including interacting with top-level stakeholders and decision-makers. Excellent communication skills to engage professionally with high-level clients and gain their trust and support. Commercial Acumen : Strong financial understanding and negotiation skills, essential for managing budgets, contracts, and business growth initiatives. Team Leadership & People Management : Ability to build, lead, and motivate management teams, ensuring that best practices in people management are applied to foster continuous improvement. Experience in applying effective motivational and influencing techniques at subordinate levels, coupled with high personal integrity. Legal & Compliance Knowledge : Good understanding of employer and labour law, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
