Tasks As an Applications Engineer at Jacobi, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and robustness of our robot applications across various industries. You will engage in all development stages of these systems, contributing significantly to each project aspect and shaping the future of robotics., * Ensuring quality, managing changes, and implementing new features for one or more robot applications. * Supporting the deployment of these systems alongside our integration partners and serving as the primary point of contact for the ongoing support of deployed systems. * Comfortable traversing the entire stack, from parsing sensor data to tweaking user interfaces, though the majority of your time will be spent in our Python control applications. * Use various physical robots to test and debug, ensuring task goals and cycle time requirements are met. * Work directly with customers and integrators to deploy the system in production environments. Profile * Excellent debugging skills and attention to detail. * Independent, able to overcome problems. * Experience with Python development. * Experience with Linux. * Strong computer networking skills. * Excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills. * Comfortable using a multimeter., * Experience in the deployment of robot arm applications. * Experience with a robot arm programming language (RAPID, KRL, INFORM, Karel, URScript...). * Experience with C++ development. * Experience with PLC programming. We offer The salary range for this role is €90,000-€125,000, along with equity and benefits, providing a competitive and comprehensive package.
