Stellenbeschreibung: Einleitung We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions and reporting, and liaising with the external accounting service provider. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing key accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Aufgaben Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting. Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Support payroll processing by providing accurate financial data and ensuring timely payments. Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support the preparation of tax filings and audits. Provide financial data and analysis to the Finance Manager for strategic decision-making. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Help streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. Qualifikation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in an accounting role, ideally supporting finance operations. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills (English & German) to work effectively with the Finance Manager and other team members. Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
