- Job Description A little about us: Container xChange is the leading
online platform for container logistics and operations. We simplify
the logistics of global trade, making the processes surrounding the
container as simple as the container itself by providing a neutral
infrastructure for all logistics companies. Our team of 100+
like-minded xChangees from 40+ nationalities has made this possible!
We have scaled far beyond the small start-up we once were and continue
to disrupt the industry together. The role: As our Account Manager,
you’ll be the primary contact for 50-80 clients, mainly freight
forwarders in the logistics industry, across the fast-growing APAC
region. Your role is to help clients thrive on our container
marketplace by facilitating transactions and building strong
relationships. You’ll connect with clients regularly, focusing on
their goals and ensuring they fully utilize our platform’s features.
A big part of your job will be developing localized approaches
tailored to the unique needs of each market. You’ll also influence
market expansion, collaborate with global teams. Your ultimate goal is
to drive both client retention and revenue growth. Location : This
role can be based full-time in Hamburg or remotely from Taiwan or
China. Please note that if based in Taiwan or China, the position will
be offered under a freelance agreement. Requirements Your Impact: Grow
Revenue & Retain Clients : You will drive net revenue growth through
upselling, contract renewals, and reducing churn. This involves
fostering strong client relationships, understanding their long-term
business objectives, and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
Enhance Product Adoption : You will engage clients to ensure they
effectively use our platform features, embedding xChange into their
daily operations to make it an integral part of their business. Expand
Your Customer Portfolio : You will identify upselling and
cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. You will also
develop a sustainable portfolio and share strategies that enhance ROI
and engagement. Deliver a Great Onboarding Experience : You will
facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new clients in their
first 60 days, delivering training and ongoing follow-ups to make
customers successful as fast as possible. You will also collaborate
with internal teams to ensure your accounts are well-supported.
Support your clients: You are the go-to person for your clients,
ensuring your clients are supported, ultimately aiming for a smooth
experience and as self-sufficient clients as possible. What makes you
the PERFECT match? You bring 1-2 years of professional sales and/or
account management experience managing large SMB portfolios, ideally
within a Marketplaces, SaaS, or logistics (container leasing and
trading) environment. You have experience working in an international
work environment, ideally in English-speaking or European-based
companies. You have expertise in developing and nurturing professional
B2B relationships, with a strong understanding of client needs and
expectations. You are a true hunter at heart, enthusiastic about
making daily calls, actively seeking opportunities, and relentlessly
pursuing new business. You bring a proactive, high-energy approach,
ready to tackle challenges and drive rapid growth. You are fluent in
English and Chinese with excellent client communication skills. What
